Creation Experience Museum

One of Our New Renovations

Ministry News: Renovations

January and February may be off season for Branson, but these two months are choked with activity around the Creation Experience Museum. This year was no exception. We completed several major renovations to better serve our guests, aid
our staff, and communicate our message of the trustworthiness of the Bible and of the foundation Genesis is to the Gospel.

Renovated Theater Room

Our theater room has served us very well over the past 11 years. Not only is it a powerful part of our tours where we share high-quality media about how true science supports the Bible, it is also a key gathering place for when school groups visit the museum. To enhance this educational experience we completely repainted the room, revamped the featured exhibits, and added our King George and the Dragon mural to where our guests will make the connection with dragons and dinosaurs more readily.

Scavenger Hunt

An area of suggestion we sometimes hear from guests about our current location is keeping the attention of young children. While the new museum will include many features to appeal to all ages, we still desire to engage our youngest guests with the truth of Scripture. Now one of our interns-turned-staff member has made that desire a reality for 2025! From the beginning of the tour, children participate in a scavenger hunt highlighting different facts about the Bible and science hidden throughout the museum. It has already been a tremendous hit and is yet another avenue for us to present our mission to ALL guests.

Remodeled Exhibits

In addition to the scavenger hunt, we also revamped one of our shadow boxes. We have included these eye-level children’s exhibits, and this one is bound to be a favorite.

Updated Signage and Improved Exhibits

One of our staff members in particular has been hard at work researching, designing, and printing new and improved signage for the entire museum. This not only gives the exhibits a fresh, clean, updated look, but also includes new, cutting edge information since we first opened our Branson location. Our signs now also correspond to our ministry colors and font, which raises the entire tour to a uniform and higher professional level.

Among these innovative changes, maintenance work was also completed like painting the welcome and check out counter and installing new ceiling fans.

While we continue to seek the Lord’s provision and timing for the new museum, we’re also seeking His direction for being good stewards of what He HAS given us. We have seen over and over again how little is indeed much when God is in it, and are continually amazed how He is impacting men, women, teens, and children right where we are right now. Thank you for being part of His work; all of our forward progress would not be possible without you!

Matching Dino Footprints on Both Sides of the Atlantic

“The fossilized tracks were primarily from three-toed theropod dinosaurs. Despite the 3,700-mile distance separating the tracks, their similarities are striking.[…] The preservation of these footprints suggests rapid sedimentation, likely resulting from the Global Flood. Finding matching footprints on both sides of the Atlantic is strong evidence supporting…”

The Sound of Music

Music shows beauty in God’s handiwork. Let’s explore some examples of where we see music in His creation and His fingerprint in it all.

God’s Handiwork: Powerful Plants

Something we see in our daily lives and don’t give much thought to is trees. These staples of our world have very interesting ways of pointing back to our Creator. Let’s examine how just two species of trees give evidence of design.
