All People Are Precious To God

Over 37,000 precious people of all ages have visited Creation Experience Museum since our beginning in 2007. As I often remind our staff of the unique means God has given us to share biblical truth with our guests, I am so thankful that in these days when the Bible is marginalized by much of secular society, we are still able to boldly declare its timeless truths at the museum.

As Christians, we know our responsibility is to obey the first two commandments as taught by Jesus:

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself” (Matthew 22:37-39).

We know that all people are precious to God, and therefore they should be to us also. In fact, the Bible tells us that God is not a God of partiality but is totally just and fair with everyone. However, we also know that on a personal level as we interact with different people, we often find ourselves feeling partial to certain people and not to others.

We have learned at the museum to be very careful not to make the mistake of judging people by first impressions or by their appearance. We have been surprised more than once when a visitor whom we could have easily thought of as probably being of a secular mindset turned out to be a dedicated Christian involved in the work of ministry.

At Creation Experience Museum we want to be led by the Lord to minister to our visitors the wonderful truths of biblical creation without compromise, share the Gospel (which is unique for a museum like ours), and be alert to any other needs our visitors may have. We are becoming known to some as a ministry that welcomes the opportunity to pray for the needs of others whatever they may be.

May we all be filled with the love of God and boldly share His truth as He leads each one of us. Thanks to all who pray and support this ministry. God bless, RB.

The Rest of the Question

We’ve all been asked the question. “Why does God allow evil in the world?” But there is another side to that question, a query that cannot be addressed by logic, history, or facts. It’s the heart behind the question, often a bruised heart deeply wounded by evil, loss, or betrayal.

The Old Testament: Mountains of Evidence

In the previous month of Creation Matters, we examined answers to the question “How do we know Genesis (and for that matter the entire Old Testament) has been accurately preserved to our time?” In this article, we will unpack a very, very brief overview of the scientific and scholarly side of this question, touching on early manuscripts, scribal practice, and ancient witnesses to the O.T. text.
